1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead
shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
There are essential doctrinal questions that should bother Believers. Mankind has pondered the conundrum of Death. What happens when we die? Where are the dead and what are they doing if anything? Scripture addresses these questions head-on and is the only trustworthy source of information on which Believers can rely.

. . . that ye may know what is the hope of his calling . . .
Before we can fully understand and appreciate what The Hope is, we must first delve into the question of His calling. What exactly is His calling, and where does it lead? By exploring His calling, we can uncover the hope that lies within our own calling. As believers in Christ, we are closely identified with Him, and this identification is symbolized through our baptism, not in water but in all He accomplished in our calling. The baptism cannot be a baptism of water, for Eph 4:5 says, One Lord, one faith, one baptism, not two baptisms, one of water, one of spirit. Which one do you choose? Now let's dive into the context of Ephesians to gain a deeper understanding.
Our exploration begins with Ephesians 1:18, but as we look forward to Ephesians 1:20-21, we witness the resurrection of Christ, and His exaltation to the right hand of God in heavenly places, and His supreme authority over all principality, power, might, dominion, and every name that exists, both in this age and the age to come. Everything is placed under His feet, and He is the Head over all things to the church, which is His body, His fullness.

That we might be Filled with the Recognition of His Will in all Wisdom and Spiritual Understanding
"For this cause, namely, that you have 'recognized' the grace of God 'in reality' and are manifesting this recognition by fruit-bearing and increase, we do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled, and this fullness is none other than the 'recognition' of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding." (Col. 1:9) Authors' translation according to usage.
This prayer is very much along the lines of that found in Ephesians 1:15-19 where the Apostle prayed that in the sphere of this acknowledgment or recognition, the spirit of wisdom and revelation would be granted. At the close of the prayer, he reverts to this "recognition," and once again, we must carefully examine the original. We must note that there are several readings of the text of Colossians 1:10.

From the Greek word Musterion. It means a secret.
Mystery comes from the Greek word musterion. It means a secret. Today the word mystery means, to most folks, something that cannot be understood, but in the Bible, it is a secret that is kept hidden till the time comes to reveal it. There may be a little parallel between the ancient mysteries of Babylon and other heathen religions. The initiates were led to the inner truths or secrets by stages or degrees, which might run from 7 in the worship of Mithra to 33 in the Babylonian mysteries. Paul addressed the epistles containing the mystery to initiates which he called saints and faithful.
