Greetings brothers and sisters,
It is confounding to me why you proclaim God is the literal author of the bible. In the case of quoting the words of Jesus Christ, as relayed by John or another Apostle, you are giving Jesus disrespect to proclaim the author is God, the Father. Do not the words of Jesus have any meaning or worth to you....he is our Teacher! To me, this stance is against Jesus and takes away from his contributions to salvation.
Secondly, when you proclaim the words of Paul are those of God...well, this is entirely a slap in the face. Paul was not God, and did not speak as God. Why are you making Paul into God? Just as Jesus was not God, the Father...although he was chosen to speak for Him. Jesus is our Teacher.
Honestly, your quotes are doing more harm than good when you label them with 'author/writer' and I would like to recommend you stop this practice at once. God does not need your credits of 'author/writer' to validate Himself. Let those who read the wise and profound words of the bible decide for themselves as to the relationship the writers had with God and the importance of those relationships. It is not your place to proclaim the entire bible was written by the hand of God, because it was not...and this is extreme blasphemy and misrepresentation to the millions seeking Him. God is much more than a book.
Your practice of putting Jesus and Paul on the same pedestal of God, the Father....it is Antichrist. The words of Jesus, our Teacher, should be noted with distinguished grace. The words of Paul or any other man or woman author of the bible should be noted for what they are....as coming from an inspired person about God. If you cannot see the truth of my words, then I can only pray you find grace, yourselves.
Love is Life,
God Bless your heart and thank you for writing. Let's see what the Scriptures say:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Joh 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
There were only 7 things one could lawfully be stoned to death for and we know He didn't commit the other 6 and for the one here they used to stone him that is to say that you were God for Him it was no sin. How does a person separate one?
Joh 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then , Shew us the Father?
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Joh 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
All that say that God has not come in the flesh ARE anti-Christ this the Scripture surely states.
Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I Am, ye shall die in your sins.
This is the same I AM as was spoken to Moses.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
The words The Lord are the Greek word Kurios and are the Greek translation for the Hebrew Jehovah so to be saved one MUST confess Jesus Christ as Jehovah or they will die in their sins.
As for Paul:
Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it , but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
All that he wrote prior to Acts 28 was received directly from God.
Eph 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Eph 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
Eph 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
All that he wrote after Acts 28 was received directly from God.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God (God breathed), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
All Scripture (since all Scripture is prophecy either forth telling or foretelling) is God Breathed and NO one can interpret it for it interprets Itself and is the revelation that The Holy Spirit (God) gives.
We suggest you prayerfully consider these things so you do not find yourself in want.
All God's Blessings,
