Do You Know The Savior?

Are you filled with questions or unease about this life you are living? Have you ever wondered why you exist or why there is so much sorrow in this world? Is there a God? Is there purpose behind any of this or is it all just random chance? What happens if I die? Does it ever feel like there is something missing because nothing in this life seems to satisfy? The questions can be endless, however, there is an answer to all these questions and more. They can be found in The Word of The One and Only True Living God.

Gods Word contains answers for the beginning and end of things and everything in between. You will find that its not about going to church, dressing a certain way, talking a certain way, bowing down to idols, being good enough, doing enough good deeds and on and on... God's Word, you will find, is filled with answers not rules, love and not fear. It is different than what all the religions in the world have made it out to be. There is Love beyond measure, satisfaction that can't be contained, a hope beyond your wildest imagination, and a peace that passes all understanding. If this sparks your interest, lets take a peek at what God's Word has to say. A couple of key verses in The Word of God which are focal to an epic purpose and plan that we can be a part of, but also key to our own individual lives, and a beginning point to answering all the questions you have are;

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

YOU KNOW YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED A POINT WITHIN YOURSELF THAT YOU HAVE A BURNING DESIRE TO LIVE THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE. THAT HAS BEEN, AND IS FIRST AND FOREMOST FOR ME. FOR YEARS I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH THIS SAME QUESTION ABOUT MYSELF. YOU KNOW YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART WHEN YOU HAVE AN AWESOME FEAR OF GOD THE FATHER EVERY TIME A TINY, DEAD LEAF FALLS TO THE GROUND, OR SEE A SNOWFLAKE PATTERN, KNOWING THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ONE EXACTLY LIKE IT, NOR WILL THERE EVER BE. YOU KNOW YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART WHEN EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY, YOU HAVE A PREOCCUPATION WITH SEEKING FIRST, ABOVE ALL THINGS, HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. CR

How can you tell if you really believe in your heart?

Our Answer;

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

This question can be difficult in the sense that no man can look into the heart of another man. Only God can look into man's heart. If man is honest with himself this question can be answered. The word for heart in Romans 10:9 is kardia. This is the thoughts or feelings of a man as opposed of course to man's physical heart. Think of something you know to be true. There is a certain amount of confidence inside you about this truth. This can be translated into the spiritual realm. God's word says;

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Words of God carry life giving power. These are not mans words. So the first time you heard some of God's Words whether you realized it or not you were hearing The Truth. For example: Lets say someone had never heard of Christ Jesus or the Bible, and a person walked up to them and said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The one who had never heard of Christ and knew nothing of the Bible would have just been presented with The Truth. Even if they didn't understand a thing, spiritually something begins to happen. Because now The Light has pierced through the darkness, and that person might not even realize it's happening. But those words of life will eventually lead to a decision for that person to make. Do I Believe those Words?

This belief comes down to faith. The Bible says in Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Most of the world believes in some sort of God out there. And every religion that exists says their God expects you to be a good enough person to make it to some sort of heaven or eternal state of being. The difference in pure Christianity is the realization that as human beings we are nothing. We could never feed enough hungry people, give away enough money to the poor, go to church enough times, comfort enough sick people etc... to obtain eternal life with God. But along time ago God set a plan in motion so we could one day be gifted eternal life and that is through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ took the sin and the consequence of sin, which is death and put it upon Himself and was killed. He took the death that we deserved. God resurrected Him to life and now if we just believe that, we also can be gifted life. Christ paid the price and there is nothing more to be done except to believe that He did. Believing the Words of God is what he desires for us.

Think how nice it is if you tell your child or a friend something and they don't ask you to prove it or say “how do you know?” When someone just takes you at your word it is a good feeling. That is what God is looking for in us, complete trust in Him. The Bible says in James 2:23 "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God..." meaning that because Abraham believed God, that belief was counted as righteousness. Abraham was just a man with all kinds of flaws like me and you, but he believed God. And not to worry, you will have times of doubts. This happens because until we are resurrected we have to battle this flesh we live in. Just like the father in Mark Chapter 9 who asked Christ to heal his son who was possessed with a demon and Christ said to him;

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

And Jesus healed him. The man recognized his weak faith but knew the source in which the strength of faith lies, and that is Christ. God is just looking for that child-like faith. That faith that say God said it and that settles it. And so only you can truly answer that question "Do I believe in my Heart?" Does it register that, yes this is the Truth? We are not expected to understand it all but do you believe that Christ paid the price, He is God's Son, He is God and He was raised from death to give life everlasting. And remember 1 John 3:20 "For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things."

The Scripture also says;

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Did you understand some of all the Scriptures that we have presented? If the answer is yes then it is because God has given you holy spirit which is life so rejoice and know that you have believed on Him and that you have Life through His Name.

All His Blessings,
The Believers
